I love South Africa so fucking much. At least, Avery's house. Estate. The first time I came, it was about preferring Avery's world to a familiar one without him. I can't say it was an entirely good visit, except in the long run, but it sure was a surprise seeing the place. It's still a bit of a shock to have a room bigger than the master at Jake's flat, and to have people do all the chores I'm used to without ever being seen. Aye, and they even cook. But now, although i can't say I'm used to it, it feels more like a home. Possibly because Avery's here, and Jake, possibly because I know Annabelle would love it, and more than slightly because Missus Driscoll is practically perfect.

You know what else I love? Adventures.

I forgot it's like summer here. Tomorrow I'm breaking out the shorts.
